Dr. Robert Lange is a healthcare executive and diagnostics expert with over 30 years of experience in laboratory medicine, hospital leadership, and applied medical science. Driven by a passion for improving healthcare systems, he founded salvevita, a company focused on benchmarking, digital innovation, and strategic consulting. His expertise spans clinical diagnostics, microbiology, and health tech transformation. With more than 60 scientific publications, Dr. Lange is a trusted advisor across the DACH region—combining scientific expertise with practical, results-driven solutions for the future of medicine.

Haya has a background in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. She spent three years at the Berlin Institute of Health’s (BIH) Digital Health Accelerator Program, where she worked on a range of projects analyzing diverse clinical datasets. During this time, she developed a strong passion for healthcare innovation, and salvevita’s mission deeply resonated with her.
The opportunity to work directly with hospitals to optimize care and laboratory processes—while linking these efforts with MedTech innovation—felt like a natural next step. It not only allows her to stay engaged in the healthcare space but also to continue applying her bioinformatics expertise to meaningful healthcare data, now with a broader perspective that includes business intelligence and operational impact.

With a Master’s degree in Aerospace and Aeronautic Engineering, they have a strong background in the aeronautics industry. Motivated by a desire to make a meaningful difference, they transitioned to the healthcare sector. This desire aligns with the goals of Salvevita, a company dedicated to improving health. Their unique combination of technical expertise and altruistic drive defines their professional journey.

Prof. Dr. med. Wolfgang Korte is a hematologist, internist, and laboratory physician. Born in Bonn, Germany, he received his medical training and degree at the University of Bochum. He completed his residency in internal medicine in Recklinghausen and in St. Gallen, Switzerland, where he moved in 1990. There, he continued his training in internal medicine, anesthesiology, and laboratory medicine before moving to Denver, Colorado (USA), to complete a fellowship in hematology/oncology and coagulation research. He also worked at Denver Health Hospital, which includes the Denver Trauma Center.

After returning to St. Gallen in 1998, he was appointed lecturer in hematology at the University of Bern in 2002 and professor of medicine in 2010. In 2012, he chaired the 56th GTH Annual Meeting in St. Gallen and served on the GTH Board from 2019 to 2023. From 2017 to 2021, he was president of the Swiss Union for Laboratory Medicine (SULM). He also led the hematology training program at Kantonsspital St. Gallen for many years.

From 2012 to 2025, he served as Medical Director and CEO of the Center for Laboratory Medicine (ZLM), which included the hematology clinic as well as the Center for Hemostasis and Hemophilia St. Gallen, which he founded. Already in 2007, he initiated the annual conference “Haemostasis in Critical Care – HICC” in St. Gallen. Since July 2025, he has been Senior Consultant at ZLM and Visiting Researcher at Empa – the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology in St. Gallen.

He is a full member of the Swiss Societies of Hematology and Laboratory Medicine, the GTH, ISTH, and ASH. His personal research interests include perioperative and periprocedural coagulation research and therapy, “classical” hematology, and the application of automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence in clinical practice and laboratory medicine. He is the author of more than 150 scientific publications and book chapters.

Nour holds a master’s degree in biotechnology and has gained extensive research experience at institutions such as Charité, the Robert Koch Institute and the German Rheumatism Research Centre. Her interest in taking research and healthcare beyond the laboratory ultimately led her to salvevita. As a project manager, she works at the interface of science, technology and healthcare to support hospitals and research institutions in implementing innovative and sustainable solutions.
